Welcome to SeeRead. By accessing or using our Chrome extension, iOS app, or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SeeRead, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy: https://seeread.app/privacy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

SeeRead transforms long-form content into visual infographics across our apps and website. The service includes:

• Article and podcast content extraction.
• Podcast transcription (audio-to-text).
• AI-powered infographic generation.
• Custom branding (logos and color palettes).
• Personal library for storing generated images.
• Public sharing links for infographics.
• Credit-based and subscription billing.
• Referral program for earning bonus credits.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SeeRead. By using this service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account and Authentication

You may use SeeRead anonymously or by signing in. Available sign-in methods may vary by platform. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google account.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Credits, Subscriptions, and Payments

• Free credits: New users receive 5 free credits per month.
• Subscriptions: Subscribers receive monthly credits; unused subscription credits roll over.
• Credit packs: One-time credit purchases do not expire while your account is active.
• Referral bonuses: Earn credits when users you refer sign up with your link; additional bonus credits may be awarded on their first purchase.
• Non-refundable: Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Cancellation: You may cancel subscriptions anytime; access continues until the billing period ends.
• iOS billing: Purchases on iOS are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms.
• iOS management: Manage or cancel iOS subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

6. iOS App Terms (Apple EULA)

If you download the SeeRead iOS app, your use is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

If there is a conflict between the Apple EULA and these Terms, these Terms govern to the extent permitted by law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the extension.
• Use automated systems to abuse the service.
• Share your account or credits with others.
• Abuse the referral system (e.g., self-referrals, fake accounts).
• Upload content you do not have rights to use.
• Generate harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
• Generate sexually explicit content.

8. Intellectual Property

• Your content: You retain rights to content you submit and infographics generated from them.
• Shared content: When you create a public share link, you grant us license to host and display that infographic.
• Our service: SeeRead and its components are protected by intellectual property laws.
• License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service for personal purposes.

9. Disclaimers

SeeRead is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated infographics will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SeeRead shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We may also change pricing and credit allocations with reasonable notice.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.
